"Sailor Moon" Creator Illustrates Memorial Album Cover

The iconic art of Sailor Moon creator Naoko Takeuchi will be gracing the cover of the franchise's memorial album.

The upcoming CD, titled Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: The 25th Anniversary Memorial Tribute, will feature tracks by women in the Japanese music scene. LiSA, SILENT SIREN, Sonoko Inoue, and BiSH are just a few of the acts featured on the disc.

The new art features Takeuchi's rendering of her ten heroines, with a little extra sparkle on their accessories:

Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: The 25th Anniversary Memorial Tribute will be released on April 4.
