"One-Punch Man" Saitama VA Makoto Furukawa to Make Solo Singer Debut in July

Lantis confirmed today that 28-year-old voice actor Makoto Furukawa, best known as the protagonist Saitama in the One-Punch Man anime series, will release his solo singer debut single on July 4. The company also provided two artist photos of him and a 40-second teaser movie to announce the news. He previously reported the news about his singer debut at his first birthday event back in October 2017, then his first single's release day is finally set.

His debut song will be produced by Satoru Kuwabara (Arte Refact), who have worked on many anime series such as Love Live Sunshine!!, PriPara, Girls und Panzer, and The [email protected] SideM. The lyrics of the song will be written by Furukawa himself.  

Furukawa was born in Kumamoto on September 29, 1989. After graduated from Fukuoka School of Music, he started his professional voice actor career in the web anime Busou Chuugakusei in 2011.
