"Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet" DLC Expansion Hits Japan This Week

With the Sword Art Online Alternative anime off and running, it's safe to say Gun Gale Online is on everyone's minds more than ever. That works out nicely for the Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet game, which is getting ready to launch its first DLC expansion in Japan on April 26.

Ambush of the Imposters introduces a new story and new playable characters—including the Satoshi Tsuruoka-voiced Dyne, Gou Shinomiya-voiced Yamikaze, and Hibiku Yamamura-voiced Musketeer X—as well as the new Elemental Wizard boss and the offline-only Bullet of Bullets mode. 

The expansion will be priced at ¥1,200 ($11) on its own, and it will also be available as part of the ¥3,000 ($28) Season Pass.

Right before the expansion launches, on April 25, Bandai Namco will also introduce update 1.2.0. The latest version adds in a four-on-four Deathmatch mode, new weapons, and a level cap increase that pushes the max up to 175.
