"My Hero Academia" TV Anime Third Season Premiere in Japan Set for April 7

The official Japanese website and Twitter for the TV anime adaptation of Kohei Horikoshi's action shonen manga Boku no Hero Academia/My Hero Academia announced today on February 2 that its highly-anticipated third season will premiere on Yomiuri TV/Nihon TV and its affiliates at 17:30 on April 7 (JST).

The first season of the adaptation animated by Bones was aired for 13 episodes from April to June 2016, then the second season followed with 25 episodes from March to September 2017. All of the main staff, including director Kenji Nagasaki and character designer Yoshihiko Umakoshi, are confirmed to return. In addition, an all-new feature film My Hero Academia The Movie is set for the summer of 2018.

Meanwhile, the manga's latest 17th tankobon volume is also released today in Japan. With the volume,

the series is confirmed to print over 13 million copies in Japan.
