Anime's season 2 premieres on Wednesday
The official website for the Nanbaka anime series announced that a stage play has been green-lit for this fall. The stage play is an adaptation of the anime, even though the anime itself is an adaptation of Shō Futamata's original manga. More information will be announced at a later date.
The Nanbaka anime premiered in Japan in October, and Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs with English subtitles. Crunchyroll is also offering the original manga online. Funimation is dubbing the anime as it airs in Japan. Crunchyroll will continue streaming into the anime's second season with no breaks.

Welcome to Nanba, the world's largest, most impenetrable prison. Locked away in cell block 13 are four inmates who provide more than enough trouble for Officer Hajime. The manga will also get a special event anime in April.
