19-year-old singer makes major debut with "Boogie Back" song
The official website for the Dragon Ball Super anime announced on Sunday that 19-year-old singer Miyu Inoue will perform the show's new ending theme song "Boogie Back." The new ending theme song will start in the episode that will air on April 2, and the "danceable pop tune" will serve as the ending theme song through June. The song marks Inoue's major debut, and the single for the song will go on sale on April 19.
Dragon Ball Super's new Universal Survival Arc debuted in Japan on February 5. Kiyoshi Hikawa is performing the new opening theme song "Genkai Toppa x Survivor" as his first anime tie-in song. THE COLLECTORS is performing the current ending theme song "Aku no Tenshi to Seigi no Akuma."
The FunimationNow, Crunchyroll, Daisuki, and AnimeLab streaming platforms are all streaming the series with English subtitles, as episodes air in Japan.
Dragon Ball Super premiered in Japan in July 2015 on Fuji TV and other channels. Funimation's English dub of the anime premiered on Adult Swim's Toonami block on January 7.
