April series stars Mirei Kiritani, Asami Mizukawa, Ryō Narita
The official website of the live-action series adaptation of Hiromi Ōkubo's Hito wa Mita Me ga 100 Percent (Woman's All About the Looks.) manga revealed on Wednesday that it has cast Gekidan EXILE member Keita Machida (seen below) as Takuma Maruo, a researcher who works in the same company as Jun Jōnouchi.
Other previously announced cast members include:
Asami Mizukawa as Mitsuko Maeda
Ryō Narita as Keiichi Sakaki
Other cast members include Shigeru Muroi and Kôsuke Suzuki.
The series will premiere in April.
The story revolves around Jōnouchi, Satō, and Maeda, three women who work as researchers, but have turned their back on femininity based on various excuses. However, they begin a special research project on "beauty." So begins the comedy-filled life of three women who try and fail at being feminine in a quest for self-evaluation.
Ōkubo launched the manga in Be-Love in 2014, and ended it in 2015. Kodansha published the manga's fourth and final compiled book volume in February 2016, but the series will continue serialization in Kodansha's Be-Love magazine on March 15.
