Nobunaga's Ambition Games Collaborate With Oda Cinnamon Nobunaga Manga

Games get themed dungeons, prizes

Una Megurogawa's Oda Cinnamon Nobunaga manga is getting a collaboration campaign with KOEI Tecmo's Nobunaga's Ambition 201X and Nobunaga's Ambition Online games.

In Megurogawa's manga, Nobunaga perishes at Honnōji as in history, and reincarnates in modern-day Japan as a dog named Cinnamon. Other Warring States era warlords such as Takeda Shingen eventually join him, also as dogs.

Nobunaga's Ambition 201X players will get a dungeon designed after the manga, and if they manage to clear it, they get the dog version's of Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Kinoshita Nene as part of the roster. These characters haven't even appeared in the manga, and Megurogawa drew them for the game. The campaign launched on Tuesday.

Nobunaga's Ambition Online players get to have a fully 3D modeled version of Cinnamon/Nobunaga that they can run around the game world with. In addition, a flag is available for purchase that Megurogawa designed to parody the Nobunaga's Ambition: Lords of Darkness game with designs from the manga. The campaign launched on Wednesday.

This month's chapter of Oda Cinnamon Nobunaga, which appeared in Tokuma Shoten's Monthly Comic Zenon magazine on Saturday, features Kō Shibusawa turned into a dog and explaining the campaign.
