Detective Conan's 'Shadow Person Appears in Monster Hunter XX Game

Detective Conan's "Shadow Person" character is getting a lot of love lately, even starring in its own gravure photo shoot. The character, usually limited to sneaking around as a fill-in for an anime episode's yet unrevealed villain, will get a chance to be the hero in Monster Hunter XX. An upcoming DLC quest will unlock armor to transform the player into a Shadow Person. The quest will also unlock Felyne armor to turn the cat-like companion into Conan Edogawa.

Monster Hunter XX has rolled out collaboration announcements on practically a daily basis. The game's planned series tie-ins already includes Hunter x Hunter, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Ace Attorney, Garo, Okami, character Strider Hiryu, Baki-Dou, Worst, Fire Emblem, Ghosts 'n Goblins, Universal Studios Japan, the Otomon Drop Monster Hunter Stories mobile game, Dengeki, Famitsu and Weekly Shonen Jump magazines, Grandpa Danger manga, Show By Rock!!, and Kingdom.

Monster Hunter XX will be released on March 18.
